Infection Control Standards

We adhere to UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines for infection control:

• Blood-borne pathogen protection protocols
• Cross-contamination prevention measures
• Medical-grade autoclave sterilization (BS EN 13060 standard, 134°C, 18+ minutes)
• Disposable needles and single-use equipment
• Safe sharps disposal (orange bio-waste containers)
• Staff immunization (Hepatitis B and tetanus recommended)

Age Verification & Legal Requirements

ID Requirements

• Valid government-issued photo ID must be provided at appointment
• Acceptable ID: UK Passport, Driving Licence, National ID Card
• ID copy retained for 30 days for compliance verification
• Clients unable to provide ID will have appointment cancelled (no refund)

Parental Consent - Not Applicable

Unlike some body modifications, parental consent does NOT override the 18+ age requirement for tattoos in the UK. This is a legal requirement, not a business policy.

Our terms and conditions are fair and transparent. We do not attempt to exclude liability for personal injury or death.

Complaints & Dispute Resolution

Making a Complaint

2. Provide details of the issue, date, and supporting photos if relevant
3. We will respond within 10 working days
4. If unresolved, escalate to management within 14 days

Formal Complaints Procedure

• Written complaints handled formally
• Acknowledgment within 5 working days
• Full investigation within 30 days
• Resolution or explanation provided in writing

Dispute Resolution

For unresolved disputes:

• First Option: Mediation (we will participate in third-party mediation)
• Consumer Ombudsman: For complaints about service quality
• Small Claims Court: For disputes under £10,000 (England & Wales)
• Full Legal Action: Available under English law

Liability & Risk Disclaimer

Professional Negligence

We take all reasonable care to provide safe, professional services. However:

• We are not liable for complications resulting from improper aftercare
• We are not liable for fading or color changes (normal over years)
• We are not liable for natural body changes affecting the tattoo appearance
• We are not liable for psychological dissatisfaction after approval of design

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for services, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence.

Intellectual Property

Custom Designs

• Original designs created by our artist are our intellectual property until final payment
• Once fully paid, you own the tattoo on your body
• You may photograph and share your tattoo freely
• We retain copyright to use images for portfolio/marketing purposes (unless you opt out)

Copyrighted & Trademarked Designs

If you request a tattoo of copyrighted or trademarked material (logos, celebrity likenesses, etc.):

• You assume responsibility for copyright infringement
• You warrant you own rights or have permission
• We will not be held liable if the original copyright holder objects

• We do not discriminate based on: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation

Note: While tattoo inks are not currently strictly regulated in the UK as medical devices, we use only professional inks from suppliers with rigorous safety standards.
